Welcome to CUSAFE - a Cambridge University society which supports college SAFE schemes. SAFE stands for Southern African Fund for Education and provides funding for projects which promote education as a tool for development.
Charities
If you are a charity with projects which you think could benefit from funding from SAFE then read on…
You can fill in the online application form which is then distributed to college SAFE committees who will consider proposals and allocate funding donated by the students. We also hold an annual charities event where charities can present and discuss their proposals with SAFE representatives.
Safe Reps
If you are currently involved with a SAFE scheme in your college then you can use this site to view all the charities’ proposals and discuss how you are allocating your money. We are also here to provide any advice and support on how to further the work of SAFE in your college.
